Tired of Awkward Wording

Image
I don't read a lot But I do read a bit here and there Suzanne Collins, J. K. Rowling, Stephen King Any fiction writer I can get my hands on the thing thing I hate the most about Awkward writing is how EVERYONE harksuponitlikesomethingsalwayswrong there isn't a thing wrong with I write how I didn't grow up reading So reading shouldn't have grown up with me, And In the end, Graders shuold understand That my words are a collection of experiences that they have no write to tell me how to use For how can I change my writing style, If I can't change my reading style? How can I change my reading style? If I don't change myself? And if I have to keep changing myself? Then I can't ever be CONTENT with MySelf

Kaiji: The Ultimate Survivor (52 EP total) Review

Image
Can an anime with bad art really tell a good story? Yes it can, and Kaiji is a prime example. Kaiji made me realize how luck is never on your side when gambling, and that one has to make his own road in life, whether that be through cheating or pain. However, people should never turn their back on their friends. That is something that even Kakashi from Naruto taught me at a young age: "Those who break the rules are scum, that's true, but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum." -Hatake Kakashi Look, I try to treat my friends equally, but sometimes it just doesn't work out. Sometimes, and I try to naïvely avoid this, there will come moments when two of my friendships are tested, and I will have to pick a side in the war, or be torn down completely. Those times are the hardest times. Digressions aside (or not), Itou Kaiji is a compulsive gambler who is in a great deal of debt. In the first season, he boards the ship Espoir  and plays an intense multi

My Own Life Philosophy

Image
So what better to follow my first blog post than to start a second one? By spilling my guts to the entire world. So, I have my own philosophy involving my interpretation of my life's purpose. My life's purpose is simply to make sure that everyone else is happy. I try my best to hold back my annoyances and set back my grievances, although there is a certain threshold I can take. There is no such thing as a perfect person, but I believe that helping and trusting in other people will always lead to good karma and thus good fortune in the future. I know that's a silly optimistic way of viewing the glass, but I'll be silly and optimistic until I die. I am a bit more sensitive to others' emotions than most people. I care a lot about my own image and reputation, but not physically, but status-wise. I must be friends with everyone and make no enemies, but that is simply wishful thinking. Everyone has enemies, even in the brightest of corners, because those people ha

A Passionate Review of One Outs (26 EP)

" What does it mean to be a winner? Is it the last one standing? It means to climb over a mountain of corpses to get to the top. By no means is it a glorious sight to behold, in fact, it is extremely cruel. Even so, if you still wish to seek victory... then you must become a devil. " "A low possibility means it is not zero" -Tokuchi Toua, One Outs. I LOVE suspense. Whenever I read books, I always sprint near the end of the book, especially if the climax is extremely gripping. This was especially true for One Outs , I remember I finished this anime on the last day of school sophomore year in my World History AP Class. I always loved the trope in which a character bests the odds no matter what. In One Outs , the motto "NOBODY WINS BUT I" really encompasses this idea, that even when the odds have flung Tokuchi against the walls and all hopes seem to have been lost, Tokuchi manages to pull out a MacGyver and save the day. However, most MacGyvers usuall
